Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba expressed his administration’s readiness to utilise the enormous tourism potential spread across the state to generate revenue.

The governor disclosed this on Wednesday in Gembu, the administrative headquarters of the Sardauna local government council, while commemorating the World Tourism Day.

He pledged to achieve the objective by using Public Private Partnerships, PPP, and development partners to drive the sector.

“To sustain our tourist attraction, I asked the task force to end illegal mining and deforestation. We’ve also made a move in a massive tree-planting effort,” he said.

“the government will promote and protect the unique cultural heritage handed over to us by our ancestors.”
