Tonto
Dikeh has accused Churchill of paying money to some people to make her
look like a liar after she accused him of domestic violence.
She also accused some of her friends of selling her out for money.
Commenting
on a post on Linda Ikeji’s Blog, Tonto said “the pain of being called a
liar after speaking up and walking away from an abusive
marriage/relationship is the worse kind it cuts deep”.
She said this while advising an LIB reader who told of how she was
abused by her ex-husband but no one believed her when she told the
story.
And Tonto replied, writing:
“My dear the pain of being called a liar after speaking up and
walking away from an abusive marriage/relationship is the worse kind it
cuts deep. In my case, my ex paid his way to making me
a liar and In the process, people I thought will be there sold me out
for money and favor. How men lie about being abusive beats me.
When admitting will get you help. However, you do not need
validation or an army to believe you, you know your truth and so do your
loved ones they are the people that matter.
Thank GOD everyday for his mercies and the strength to
move away from that which was meant to destroy us. I am slowly getting
over that experience it won’t happen in a day, but it will happen
eventually. Be the best you can be for yourself, your children and loved
ones.”
