President Bola Tinubu on Thursday had a closed-door meeting with the Enugu State governor, Peter Mbah, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to the Nation, although there is no information about the reason for the meeting, it was gathered that Tinubu and Mbah would discuss issues concerning Enugu State.
DAILY POST reported that the governor was part of the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, which was presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday.
Following the NEC meeting, the Federal Government announced an N5 billion palliative to each state of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to cushion the impact of the removal of the petrol subsidy.
