Below is a video showing Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino, shooting Felix Orinda, a DJ whom he allegedly had a heated exchange with at a popular night club in Kilimani, Nairobi.
The Orange Democratic Movement lawmaker has since been arrested by the police after the incident at B-Club.
A police report revealed that Owino drew his pistol and shot Felix who is now in serious condition at a hospital.

“He drew his pistol and shot the DJ in the neck. The victim was rushed to Nairobi Hospital in serious condition by the management of the club,” the report reads in part.
Detectives who rushed down to the scene are yet to find the weapon.
“Officers are currently at the scene searching for the cartridge,” the report says.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) confirmed Mr Owino’s arrest via a tweet saying,
“The MP is in lawful custody as further investigations continue”.
Owino has now issued a statement concerning the incident.
“I have been receiving threats against my life and even reported an attempted assassination at the Parliament Police Station under OB number OB21/17/11/2019. I have been living under the weight of intimidation and threats“, he said.
He added: “I invite the relevant authorities to conduct their investigations without fear or favour“.
