The abductors of three Senior Secondary School female students are
reported to have demanded for N20 million as ransom, per student.
A group of armed hoodlums kidnapped no fewer than three females
students (Timilehin Olisa, Tofunmi Popoolaniyan
and Deborah Akinayo, all SS2 students)
of the Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School in the
Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
The abductors, armed with guns stormed the premises of the private
school and seized the children at about 8:30pm on Monday, February 29.
According to Vanguard, the kidnappers initially demanded for N100 million for each abducted girl.
The abductors were said to have reduced their demands to N20 million after being begged by representatives of the School of Science and
Technology, but the suggestion was ignored.
