Court orders porn star Stormy Daniels to pay $293K to Donald Trump

A federal high court in Los Angeles has ordered porn star Stormy Daniels to pay Donald Trump $293,000 for his attorney fees and $1000 in sanction after her defamation suit against him was dismissed.

Charles Harder, Trump’s attorney, had demanded $390,000 as a way of deterring “repeat filler of frivolous defamation cases”.

Before the 2016 US presidential election, Stormy Daniels had alleged that she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and that she was paid $130,000 as part of a non-disclosure agreement.

Her case was thrown out of court after she sued him for defamation with claims that she was being threatened to keep quite.
