Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has again warned the public to refrain from addressing him as the Executive governor of the state.
He gave the warning on Monday in a statement made available to Journalists in the state capital by his Chief Press Secretary, Yusuf Sanda.
On ascending the number one position in the state, the governor warned the public to cease addressing him as a retired colonel.
Rather than addressing him as the Executive Governor, Kefas, as stated in the statement, now prefers to be addressed as the “Governor of Taraba State.”
Part of the statement read, “The public is being informed that going forward, Dr. Agbu Kefas will be referred to as “the Governor of Taraba State.”
As stated in the release, the governor said all official correspondence and protocol should use this identification.
“For clarity, it is best to refrain from using the Executive Governor of Taraba State, henceforth.” The statement read.
