Dr. Aduwo, a lecturer in the Accounting Department at the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, has been sacked for allegedly sexually harassing a female student back in June 2019.

The lecturer was caught, pants down, while allegedly attempting to have carnal knowledge of one his students identified as Nike after he invited her to his house at night. .

It was gathered that the girl’s boyfriend and some of his friend’s were also in on the plot and told her to play along. After a video of the incident went viral, the university queried and set up a probe panel on the matter. .

The University Governing Council, at its 135th meeting held on 5th December, 2019, them approved the recommendations of the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee (Academic) that recommended his dismissal.

His sack came after the Committee considered the overwhelming evidence against him and invited him to clear himself. He, however, admitted to the allegations and confirmed the authenticity of the report of the preliminary panels before which he appeared.
