Afterdumping the pary, he attributed his move to the grave injustice being meted on him as regards the forthcoming 2019 general elections
He revealed that he is angered by the decision of the ruling party to drop his name from the list of candidates for the 2019 general election.
Considering he did not reveal the political party he would be porting to, there are speculations that he would join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The primary elections in Niger State since ended in controversy as the three Niger senators — namely Mohammed, David Umar and senate spokesman, Aliyu Abdullahi — had been cleared in the list dated October 4, 2018 and signed by Adams Oshiomhole, the party’s national chairman, while Mohammed was immediately replaced with Muhammad Bima Enagi and the two others were cleared.
