Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Mohammed Salah have been shortlisted for the 2018 FIFA The Best Award.
Ronaldo won the highest goal scorer award in the Uefa Champions League and also won the UCL for a third consecutive time.
Mohammed Salah won the highest goal scorer in the EPL in his first season, he also guided Liverpool to the Uefa Champions League final.
Luka Modric was instrumental in Croatia’s run to the final of the 2018 FIFA world cup in Russia he was also part of the Real Madrid team that won the UCL for a record third consecutive season.
Lionel Messi won the La Liga, Copa del Rey and also won the highest goal scorer in La Liga and the Overall highest goal scorer in Europe but he is not in the list.
Lionel Messi fail to make the list for the first time sine 2006.
The Award ceremony will take place in a Gala in London September 24.
