The sporting world was rocked with the news of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid shortly after winning a third consecutive Champions League trophy with the club. When it was first leaked that he was going to exit the club, many thought he was going to return to Manchester United, the club that shot him into limelight.

However, it was disappointing for Manchester United fans when he was unveiled by Italian side Juventus. Manchester United fans were were delighted with Ronaldo’s presence when his new club Juventus clashed with their club at Old Trafford. The Portuguese scored against his former club when the second leg of the encounter was played in Italy.

Shortly after Ronaldo moved to juventus, a Las Vegas lady named Katherine Mayorca accused him of raping her when she went to his house after a night club party. Ronaldo however denied the allegations stating that it all stands against what he believes in. The Portuguese is however likely to end the year 2018 with good news as he currently sits at the second spot in the highest goal scorers table in the Italian Serie A.
