Redeemers University holds thanksgiving service for 12th convocation (photos)

In what pundits in the education sector have predicted to go down as one of the best organized virtual convocations in the history of higher education institutions in Africa, Redeemer’s University has concluded arrangements to broadcast its maiden virtual convocation across various media from Sunday 8th to Tuesday 10th November 2020 through state-of-the-art technology backed and powered by its proprietor, The Redeemed Christian Church of God in 192 countries of the world.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinlo, 448 graduating students will be awarded with both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees during this 12th convocation of the set christened: Daniel Generation.

He said this set has been raised as global leaders and change agents imbued with God-fearing attributes; adding that they are specially commissioned to set standards through a continuous commitment to excellence geared towards a transformative impact on society.

The theme of this year’s convocation lecture is Entrepreneurship, Agriculture and Youth Empowerment. The Convocation Lecture will be delivered by the Chairman, First Bank Plc, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, a renowned speaker and management thought leader.
