Officials of the international School University of Ibadan, ISI, can be seen in the video below telling female students to remove their hijab before they can be allowed to enter the school.
This is coming few days after an Oyo State High Court led by Justice Ladiran Akintola struck out a suit challenging the school’s refusal to allow Muslim female students wear hijab.
Watch video below.
The suit was filed by some parents of the Muslim students who were prevented from wearing hijab to school. According to them, the denial was unconstitutional and prevents the suit applicants the rights to freedom of religious expressions.
However, Justice Akintola struck out the suit saying that it contravenes the provision of the constitution. He added that a joint suit is not allowed in fundamental human right suit.
