Oba Akirun of Ikirunland, Oba Abdul-Rauf Adewale Adedeji II is reportedly dead.
The monarch died in the wee hours of Wednesday. The king died at the age of 78.
The cause of the Osun Monarchs’ death is yet to be confirmed as of the time of filling this report.
Oba Adedeji was installed as Akirun of Ikirunland in 1991. He was also a devout Muslim.
He performed his pilgrimage to Mecca in 2002 in fulfilment of his devotion to the Islamic faith.
