Kaycee Madu, the Nigerian-born Canadian first black Justice Minister has shared an appreciation message for the support he got from Nigerians after he was named for the position.
Taking to Twitter, Kaycee Madu expressed hope that Nigeria and Africa will start to appreciate hard work and merit.
“Thank you for all the support and prayers coming from Nigeria and Nigerians in diaspora. I look forward to the day when Nigeria and Africa become places where hard work and merit are rewarded. Chkwu Gozie”. he tweeted.
His post was seen as a shade thrown at Nigerian as social media users revealed that he won’t have succeeded in Nigeria as an Igbo man.
