The Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, has warned that any attempt to instigate post-election violence, will be “crushed decisively”.
Hundeyin made this known in a tweet on Sunday.
He wrote: “Available intel suggests some people have concluded plans to foment trouble & wreak havoc.
“Kindly note that such attempts would be crushed decisively. Our election security architecture has not been drawn down.
“Anarchy will not be allowed!
“Remain law-abiding. Be guided!”
Violence occured in different parts of Lagos during Saturday’s elections as thugs disrupted voting, destroying election materials.
