The much talked about Nollywoood blockbuster, Two Brides
and a Baby turned out as beautiful as expected. The movie was a
beautifully crafted romantic comedy about a couple, Keche (Keira
Hewatch) and Kole (OC Ukeje) who planned for a beautiful wedding
ceremony and hoped for a blissful life thereafter….until the unexpected
happens!
The movie cast
It all began on the day before the
wedding, during the wedding rehearsal, surrounded by friends and family
when the groom’s ex girlfriend (Stella Damasus) suddenly showed up,
bringing along a basket full of drama.
Cupboard full of secrets
were soon opened, exposing the concealed reactions of everyone directly
involved, including a challenged married couple (Deji and Ene) and a
troubled engaged couple (Ugo and Maye).
I particularly enjoyed the
Deji character played by Kalu Ikeagwu and Ene character played by
Blessing Effiom. The musical background was a beautiful one too however,
the Omo character played by Claret Onukogu was too fake besides the
problem was resolved too easily.
Two Brides and a Baby was written
and produced by Blessing Effiom, and directed by the Teco Benson. The
movie cast comprises Stella Damasus, Kalu Ikeagwu , Keira Hewatch, OC
Ukeje, Chelsea Eze, Blessing Effiom, Okey Uzoeshi, and Kehinde Bankole. Check out the movie trailer…
