Meghan Markle has given birth to her first child with husband Prince Harry and it’s a boy. The 37-year old went into labour and gave birth to the baby this morning.
The sex of the child was first undisclosed when the news was broken by Prince Harry who spoke in Windsor:
“I am very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning.
“A very healthy boy.”
“Mother and baby are doing incredibly well.
“It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined.”
It is not quite clear if Meghan Markle gave birth at home or in a hospital, but she had planned to give birth in her home at Frogmore Cottage, Windsor, where she and Harry live.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were expecting their first child on October 15 in Sydney.
