Manchester United have appointed a former player of the club, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as caretaker manager until the end of the season. This just 24 hours after the club announced the exit of former manager Jose Mourinho who is now touted to take over at Real Madrid.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be joined by Michael Carrick, Mike Phelan and Kieran Mckenna as first team coach.
The club shared on social media:
”We can confirm that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been appointed as caretaker manager until the end of the 2018/19 season. He will be joined by Mike Phelan as first-team coach, together with Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.”
