Today’s feature is all about blood sisters, Benita (Gospel singer) and Bellarose Okojie (OAP)!
For many, sisterhood means having a friend who will be there for
life, and who was there in its beginning. Siblings can share childhood
memories with you that nobody else can connect to in quite that special
way. Your sister may drive you crazy, or she may inspire you.
From the days of Osamudieme, Iyere to We Ose, we have been keeping up with them!
Read this story that Bella shared about Benny recently “When we were younger, I think Benny was 7, I was 5. Mother said Benny went to play and after a while, she came home crying. I couldn’t stand seeing her cry so i marched towards the gate, demanding, “Benny, coman show me the person that beat you! Lemme bite him!” This was #BeforeOsemudiamen #BeforeChildOfGod #WayBeforeWeOse #BeforeMyGirlBecameAChildStar #BeforeSheStartedHeadliningConcertsShowsChurchProgrammes #BeforeSheStartedSingingAndMakingMeCryLikeAFish etc.
I would stand up for her. She has said it before sef, that i behave like the older one. It’s weird how she never gets upset at me. She would say… “Bella, hmmm are you sure you want to do this or that? Cos you ehn, once you make up your mind about something, you do it!” I have made up my mind to follow Jesus. I have made up my mind to always look out for you. To support your ministry. To be there for you. To share my nairas, kobos, billions, joys and challenges with you. I don’t care whose ox gets goured. My mind is made up… and you know what i can do… with The Lord Jesus Christ on my side. #BestVocalistAlive #ThisGirlSingsAndTheHeavensOpen #IalwaysCryWhenSheHandlesTheMic #GodsFavoriteSinger #GodsChoir #BFF #ChiefBridesMaid #AuntyBella #IllMakeAFantasticInlaw o #IwillVisitYouEhnYouGoTire #IwillHaveSpareKeyToYourHouseSef #HappyBirthdayBaby.”
And then this story Benita wrote about Bella, aww!
Yesterday I was craving something (I won’t tell) So I drove in search of it. Forgot my phone. Coming back was rough because it was raining heavily. As I got to close to the gate, I saw @bellaroseo with an umbrella with that look mum’s have when they’re worried. She opened the gate and said nothing. I was aughing as I parked, she walked towards me (not smiling)with the umbrella and said “where you waka go? Where you put phone. I was worried.” Dear World. This is my Woman Crush #WCW #Shewillpara #nowrunning #okbyeforreal.
The best part is how much they love to sing together 🙂

God is Good. He’s still in the business of doing good things for His children. Know that every challenge, disappointment will later turn into a blessing. Why? Because you serve a good God whose delays are not denials and whose time is perfect. So, Regardless of how you feel, remind Him of how good He is and let Him show you off to the world as a perfect example of His Goodness ?? #StayPrayedupandTrusting #TuesdaywiththeOkojieSisters

I think we made it! Bella, we are international!!! Our profiles will read something like… ” V Bozeman had Luscious Lyon tell her: sing like you are going to die tomorrow! But the #OkojieSisters, armed only with their Jesus and their mum tell them to go and buy water (?), they have gone platinum! Look out V Bozeman!” … or something like that sha.
