Yes, it’s been confirmed…the super Eagles coach has indeed resigned! Stephen Keshi resigned from his post as coach of the Nigerian national team, less than 24 hours after he led them to gold in the Africa Cup of Nations.
After the Big Boss led the team to the final and won the competition, he decided to resign!
In an interview with Robert Marawa on Metro FM, he confirmed he sent in his resignation after the celebrations.
“I did what I feel is right by resigning,” he told Marawa.
“I gave the NFF a letter last night [Sunday] after the celebrations.”
The former coach of Mali and Togo, made 51 appearances for Nigeria as a player.
