Kano Hisbah commander, Sheikh Daurawa resigns

The Commander-General of Kano State Hisbah Board, Sheikh Aminu Daurawa, has resigned.

He broke the news in a viral video, which was shared on Friday, March 1 2024, in Kaduna.

Daurawa revealed this at a retreat organised by the state House of Assembly.

According to him, he has tried his best to uphold the morality of people in Kano state.

He however cited omments made by Governor Abba Yusuf regarding his work during the week as his reason for resignation.

Daurawa apologised to Yusuf over some of his actions, but insisted that all his actions were in good faith.
