The wife of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, Ramatu on Monday slumped at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This was during the hearing on the application for bail filed by her husband and six others accused of drug trafficking by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.
She slumped on the ground shortly after trial Justice Emeka Nwite deferred the ruling on applications.
NDLEA operatives then moved her husband and the six others away from the court premises.
Kyari will remain in the custody of the NDLEA until March 28th.
This is coming days after the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG Joseph Egbunike, who was investigating Kyari slumped and died.
Kyari had been arrested after he was caught on camera offering bribe to stall a drug case.
The NDLEA had accused him of being part of an international drug cartel after two members were arrested at the Enugu airport with cocaine.
