Julius Abure was on Wednesday, re-elected as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) for a second term.
According to Channels Television, Abure won with unanimous support from delegates.
The Chairman of the National Convention and Deputy Governor of Abia State, Mr Ikechukwu Emetu, announced the winner at the party’s national convention in Nnewi, Anambra State, on Wednesday.
Abure has been engaged in a conflict with the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress, headed by Joe Ajaero.
