Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of a Technical Adviser and 32 Special Advisers.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
Dr. Hauwa Mustapha Babura is the newly appointed Technical Adviser of Basic Education.
The newly appointed Special Advisers are as follows: Sabi’u Musa Solid Minerals, Hindatu Tafida Women Affairs, Bashir Ado Kazaure Salary and Pension, Usman Na’Allah Revenue and Investment, Ibrahim Husaini Kadeta Culture and Tourism Haladu Yakubu Gwarta Science and Technical Education, Wada Usman Garki
Desertification, Dr. Ismaila Basirka Tsangaya III, Muktari Muhammad Birniwa SDG and Muhammad Ahmed Ta’in Bulangu RUWASA.
Others are Ishaq Hadejia Censorship Board, Rabi’u Garba Kaugama, National Assembly Matters, Ado Idris Andaza Social Protection, Engineer Ashiru Babandaidai Rural Development, Hassan A. Musa Shakara Human Resource Development, Abdulkadir Abubakar Maje Market Development, Malam Abdulkadir Usman, Ulamas and Imams, Ayuba Magaji Urban Development, Dr. Mariya Ibrahim Primary Healthcare and Abbas Ya’u Jahun Civil Service Matters.

Malam Bala Ibrahim explained that the appointment is based on merit, competence and personal integrity.
He urged all the appointees to work diligently to execute the present administration’s policies and programmes effectively.
The statement further explained that all the appointments take immediate effect.
