It shocked them – Davido reacts as Supreme Court affirms Adeleke as Osun governor

Popular Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, professionally known by his stage name Davido, has reacted to the Supreme Court’s ruling on Tuesday, which affirmed Ademola Adeleke as the Governor of Osun state.

Davido is a nephew to the Osun Governor.

And he tweeted shortly after the judgement: “We go Dey shock dem like high tension!!”

The Supreme Court on Tuesday, ruled in favour of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state.

The apex court ruled that “Adeleke ought not to have even defended any of the allegations of Oyetola because they are based on hear say.”

On the APC and Oyetola’s witness, it added that “he has no personal knowledge of the case. He was not present in any of the polling units. His entire testimony in the case is incurable inadmissible”

Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has dragged Adeleke to court over the results of the Osun governorship election in 2022.

The election was won by Adeleke, but later upturned by the Osun gubernatorial election tribunal.
