I remain loyal – Ondo deputy gov Aiyedatiwa begs Akeredolu

The Deputy Governor of Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has apologized to his principal, Rotimi Akeredolu, over the embarrassment that the ongoing political crisis must have caused in the state.

The deputy governor stated this while speaking with journalists in his office in Akure, the state capital.

Aiyedatiwa claimed that the crisis was being caused or fueled by some political contenders in the state.

He also reiterated that he remained loyal to the governor and his administration.

“I am deeply saddened by the embarrassment and discomfort that Mr. Governor has faced due to the barrage of negative news in the state as a result of the events of the last few months.

“I tender my sincere apology to Mr. Governor on this as our leader in the state,” Aiyedatiwa said.
