I can’t confirm the death of Ojukwu’s son – Bianca Ojukwu

Widow of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Bianca has declared that she cannot confirm the death of her late husband’s first son, Sylvestor Debe Ojukwu.

Debe Ojukwu was reported to have passed away on Friday night after a brief stay at the hospital.

According to Punch Newspaper, Bianca Ojukwu has said it is not up to her to make announcements in the Ojukwu family as it was against the tradition of the people of Nnewi to do such.

“According to our tradition, it is not my role to make such announcements. We have elders in the family, who have such duties and functions. It’s not part of my duties”, she said.

Online publication, 247report, was the first to report that the late Ojukwu’s son died in a Lagos hospital.
