The much anticipated Russia 2018 world cup final has finally come to an end with France celebrating its victory after defeating Croatia 4-2 in Sunday’s final to win the World Cup

The French President, Emmanuel Macron who watched the match right in the stadium has shocked many with a rather unexpectant reaction to celebrate French World Cup win

While the fans having been going absolutely berserk in the celebration mood, it appears their president is not any less excited as he is captured in the heat of the moment, standing up on a table and raising his fists in celebration.

During the match, Leus Bleus took the lead, after Antoine Griezmann’s free-kick crept in, via a deflection off Mario Mandzukic.

Ivan Perisic equalized with his fourth goal of the tournament, firing past Hugo Lloris from inside the box.

The referee adjudged that Perisic handled the ball, after viewing replays from VAR and awarded a penalty, which Griezmann tucked away calmly.

Paul Pogba stretched France’s lead with a third around the hour mark, before Kylian Mbappe made it 4-1 with a vicious drive.

Mandzukic pulled one back after Lloris dithered on a back pass.
