A helicopter which was flying into the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), on Tuesday crashed on Oba Akran Ikeja, Lagos State.
A CCTV clip of the tragic incident has gone viral on social media.
It was gathered that the plane went down around 3:30 pm adjacent to AP Filling Station, and United Bank For Africa, Oba Akran.
The aircraft burst into flames near Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), its destination.
Pilots of the helicopter were rescued. However, there is no information on whether or not there were other passengers on board.
Responders from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) were on ground at the time of filing this report.
