Guber election: INEC declares Umo Eno winner in Akwa Ibom

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umo Eno, as the winner of the Akwa Ibom governorship election.

Eno polled 356,348 votes to emerge winner of the poll.

He defeated Bassey Albert of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), who came second with 136,262 votes.

Akan Udofia of the All Progressives Congress came third with 129,602 votes.
