Sequel to the expiration of their tenure in office, the Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola has ordered all local council chairmen and political office holders in various local government areas to vacate their offices.
In a statement on Friday issued to journalists by the secretary to the state Government, Wole Oyebamiji, in Osogbo, the state Capital, the Governor disclosed the new development.
Oyetola, in the statement, appreciates the outgoing chairmen for their immense contribution toward the development of the state.
The Governor further wishes them well in all their future endeavors.
Kemifilani recalled in 2020, the state had conducted a council election, and the newly chairmen will assume office with immediate effect.
