A former pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Mike Davids, has apologized to Apostle Johnson Suleiman after he accused him of engaging in sexual immorality with his wife.
It would be recalled that Davids, in a petition to the Inspector General Of Police, IGP, last month, said Apostle Johnson Suleiman slept with his wife, Faith Ediko, in a hotel at Auchi, Edo State; the hotel identified as Uyi Hotel.
Davids further accuses the Apostle of threatening his life and also denied him access to his three children.
After the allegation, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, through his legal practitioners in his defense, filed a case against him.
Apostle Suleiman further filed an N5bn case against him at the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, for “conspiracy to blackmail and defamation of character.”
Davids, however, in a video he made on Wednesday, apologized to the cleric for accusing him wrongly.
In his tendered apology, David referred to Suleiman as his father in the Lord., adding that he has undergone ‘spiritual rehabilitation and had been instructed by God to apologize to Apostle Suleiman.
“In view of what has happened in the past, after embarking on my “spiritual sojourn,” I received instructions from the Lord to do what I’m about to do now.
“I want to sincerely apologize to my father in the lord Apostle Johnson Suleman for accusing him of sleeping with my wife.
“Also, I apologize to Omega Fire Ministries around the world and to Apostle Suleman’s wife for the manner in which I reached out for help. I’m deeply sorry,” he said.
