Gawuna congratulates President-Elect, Tinubu

Kano State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Alhaji Nasiru Gawuna, has congratulated President-Elect Bola Tinubu and his deputy, Sen. Kashim Shettima, on their victory in Saturday’s election.

This information can be found in a statement made on Wednesday in Kano by Malam Hassan Musa-Fagge, the deputy governor’s chief press secretary.

“On behalf of myself and my running-mate, Hon. Murtala Sule Garo, are wishing you success as you take up the responsibility of renewing the hope of Nigeria.

“I pray that Almighty Allah give you more wisdom, strength, direction and guidance to deliver on your mandate.

“You have proved to be a true democrat who showed commitment, zeal and dedication towards the service and development of our country,” he said.

Gawuna also lauded eligible party supporters for massively voting for the party candidates and call on them to come out enmass and cast their votes in the March 11 governorship and state assembly elections.

“You have done it before and we believe you would do it again in a peaceful political atmosphere to ensure victory of our candidate seeking elective offices, ” he urged. (NAN)
