Fuel subsidy Hardship: Be patient with Tinubu- Arc Adenike Bamisaye begs Nigerians

Arch Adenike and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Architect Adenike Bamisaye, a social commentator and lecturer at Nile University, urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu amid economic hardship occasioned by fuel subsidy removal.

Arch Bamisaye disclosed this recently in an interview with Femi Kilani News on the sideline of her installation as the 4th Chairperson of Inner Wheel District 910 in Abuja.

She called on well-meaning Nigerians to support the government in alleviating the masses’ hardship.

Kemi Filani News recalls that after the removal of fuel subsidies and the introduction of forex reforms, the prices of goods and services hit the rooftop.

Consequently, the National Bureau of Statistics said June’s headline inflation stood at 22.79 per cent.

In her reaction to the country’s economic situation, Bamisaye said:

“Well, the hardship is biting on everybody, but I want President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to have a plan to address the situation. The hardship is just for a little while; it will fizzle out. I want Nigerians to support the President’s plans and vision for the country”.
