FFK ecstatic about his wife and kids despite past and present storm

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), is one man who is always in the news for his utterances as an opposition politician. But asides making political news, his domestic and personal affairs do once in a while filter into public eye.

Prior to the 2015 elections in Nigeria, FFK who was in the All Progressives Congress (APC), which was an opposition party then, claimed to have had a relationship with Bianca Ojukwu, wife of late Biafran warlord, Emeka Odimiegwu Ojukwu. This led to a heated debate between Yoruba and Igbo youths on social media concerning the veracity of his claims.

Corroborating the claims is controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, who said Bianca got pregnant twice for the former minister.

“Fani-Kayode was dating Bianca, Fani-Kayode was in Cambridge, I’ve seen Bianca in Fani-Kayode’s room many times, loved up and everything. They went out,” she said after explaining that she was in London at the same time as the two.

“So when this thing happened, Femi called me… Femi needed someone to defend him… Everybody didn’t want to get involved, but I stood up for Femi.

“It’s true, they went out, and she got pregnant twice…The first pregnancy was a miscarriage…they were supposed to get married, they were engaged already, but Bianca didn’t want to go out with Fani-Kayode anymore so she had an abortion…I’m saying it on camera now, she had an abortion,” she added.

However, the back and forth argument between FFK and Bianca who denied they ever met, led to a scrutiny of the domestic affairs of the former minister.

FFK has been divorced twice with four daughters from his previous marriages.

The camp of one of his ex-wives, Yemisi Wada once release a lengthy post accusing him of domestic violence and drug abuse.

Even though he is accused of abandoning his daughters, he can be seen on social media celebrating them when they make special achievements.

The bad feelings some Igbo youths had towards FFK for his comment about Bianca Ojukwu, has however taken a u-turn as they now see him as a huge political ally.

This is not only due to his decamping to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his verbal support for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, but also because he got married to one of their daughters, Precious Chikwendu.

The couple have four sons together: Aragon and the triplets who have been visited by former presidents and top politicians in the country.

Before their birth, an online publishing site claimed FFK wanted an end to his marriage with Precious Chikwendu. According to them, he discovered that he was not responsible for the pregnancy which led to the delivery of the triplets.

Despite the bad press about his previous and present marital status, the vibrant voice of opposition in Nigeria’s political scene, FFK, is still ecstatic about his wife and four boys whom he never fails to celebrate on social media.
