    By Tireni AdebayoOctober 11, 2020

Popular activist, Aisha Yesufu is presently receiving accolades from Nigerians for her bravery at the #ENDSARS protest in Abuja on Saturday.

Despite being shot at by the police, Aisha Yesufu did not back down neither did she stop speaking.

“I still can’t believe I am neither dead nor in the hospital. Every step I took yesterday walking away as men [email protected] at me I braced myself for the moment of impact. It seems President [email protected]&@ProfOsinbajogave IGP order to shoot at protesters…We met with IGP who in our presence called some of his CPs & gave them instructions to protect protesters as demanded by law. He went to have a meeting with Osinbajo & Buhari and he sent his men to kill. Is he not following Buhari’s orders?” Aisha Yesufu tweeted.

Reacting to her gallancy, Nigerians have taken to social media to shower her encomiums.

“I’ve seen this image about 7 times now and each time it gives me goosebumps. It’s such a powerful image . #endsars” One Irenuga wrote

One Omoge Leko wrote “QUEEN AISHA YESUFU!! AN UNFUCKWITHABLE QUEEN. They shot live rounds, tear gas and water at her while she walked away with her fists raised high. Frequency so high the universe has to protect. Unhurt and untouched. I Stan!!”

One Iyke Forunte wrote “This is what Statue of liberty looks like to me. A wonder woman “

One Chika wrote “A National treasure! She must be protected by all means…Fearless, courageous, My Woman of the year.”

Aisha said this while reacting to the injustice meted on Nigerian youths by officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

“I will not be an irresponsible parent and leave this fight for my children.

“I am ready to sacrifice my life for my children to live.

“I brought them to this world, and I need to fix the world I put them in. #EndSars #EndSARSProtest,” Aisha wrote on Twitter on Friday night.
