The Executive Vice-Chairman of Manchester United, Ed Woodward has revealed the manager who will replace Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
Mourinho has been under intense pressure as his side trails 18 points behind league leaders Manchester City after a 2-2 draw against rivals Arsenal.
According to a report from The Sun, Ed Woodward will sack Mourinho if United fail to make it into the top four this season. The report also states that the Portuguese will be replaced with Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
The sacking will cost United £40million, but they will not have to pay Mourinho a severance package if he fails to qualify the club for next champions league.
