Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has stated that streaming ratings is not a measure of how talented a musician is.
In a post he shared on Instastories, the singer revealed how some songs which are the most streamed aren’t really a creation of talent but “joke”.
According to him, the fact that such songs got more streams than actual talented songs shows that streaming is not a measure of talent.

His post is coming just about a week after he cautioned African artistes against signing international deals. According to Burna Boy, such deals are tantamount to slavery.
He also spoke of how his mother and manager helped him dodge a deal that would have made him an “International victim”. This is coming just about a year after it was announced that he signed a deal with Universal Music.
