The corpse of a 400 level student, Soonibare, of
Osun State University, Oluwafemi Soonibare, was discovered beside an
Islamic cleric’s house. Soonibare, who is a student of Microbiology in the school was
declared missing on June 26, 2017 after his sudden disappearance from
his residence.

According to report, the presence of the security operatives in the
area caught the attention of students and other residents of the area,
who thronged to the location.
A mosque, located close to the cleric’s residence was also damaged.
