COVID-19: Lagos gets highest number as Nigeria records 245 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has on Monday reported that the nation has confirmed 245 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), pandemic outbreak in the country as Lagos gets the highest number.

2802 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in NigeriaDischarged: 417
Deaths: 93.

The Disease control center also added that they had employed more hands to handle the infected persons.

“We are rapidly increasing the number of frontline workers trained to respond to #COVID19 in all 36 states & FCT.

In the last three weeks, we trained over 8000 health workers, focusing on infection prevention and control.”
