Court detains 80-year-old Oyo PDP leader in connection to the death of Aborode

Peoples Democratic Party 80-year-old chieftain in Igangan, known as Pa Olawuwo, was prosecuted in respect to the killings of Dr. Fatai Aborode.

Newsmen gathered that Olawuwo was arrested and taken to the Criminal Investigation Department of the State, Iyaganku, in Ibadan.

Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, the Public Relations Officer of Oyo state, told newsmen on Friday that Pa Olawuwo is prosecuted, and the court remanded him in the custody of the police.

The PRO made this known while responding to queries from newsmen.

He said; “Yes, he has been charged to court and remanded in Police custody.”

Sources informed newsmen that the veteran politician and Aborode hailed from the same constituency, and some of his followers who went to where he was reprimand were denied access to him.
