The governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has said that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a video shared on Twitter, Akeredolu said that he fell sick to malaria and was treated before he recovered.
He was later advised to go for COVID-19 to be certain that it wasn’t just malaria he had.
The result of the COVID-19 test he did came back positive today, the governor disclosed on twitter.
He tweeted: “Today I tested positive for #COVID19. All is well. I’m asymptomatic and have been self isolating. Work continues. Your continued prayers over my well being are most appreciated”.
