Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu arrives court ahead of ruling

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has arrived at the Abuja Federal High Court ahead of his trial.

Kanu was brought into the court room at about 11am on Friday.

The arrival of the IPOB leader was announced by his brother, Prince Kanu Meme via his Twitter handle.

Kanu is facing charges bordering on terrorism and felony before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Justice Nyako is expected to rule on Kanu’s fundamental human rights suits challenging the Nigerian government.
