Balogun shines as Brighton beat Manchester United

Super Eagles defender impressed in Brighton 3-2 win over Manchester United.

Balogun replaced Dunk in the 20th minute to make his debut in the premier league.

The Super Eagles defender marshalled the Seagulls’ defense as he had Lukaku and co in his pocket.

First half goals from Glenn Murray, Shane Duffy and Pascal Gross gave Brighton a shock 3-1 lead against Manchester United.

The Red Devils failed to offer any threat after Lukaku reduced the deficit in the first half.

Jose Mourinho made a double change by bringing in Lingard and Rashford for Mata and Pereira at the start of the second half.

Brighton defended doggedly to deny Manchester United any hope of a comeback.

Pogba reduced the deficit when he scored from the spot to make it 3-2.

Manchester United also lost against Brighton last season.
