Most airlines in Nigeria are widely known for their 1-5 hours delay and take off times are always moved for different reasons. Well, this time around the delay is out of Arik airline hands. “It is very easy to steal from a bank, the bank operators are careless”, says bank robber
One Mr Ibrahim Abudulamdi who has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for bank theft has stated that he is not a robber. He says that all he does is to observe the bank environment and take the money. Mr Abudulamdi gave an example of how he walked into the bulk room of a bank and pick up 1.2 million naira and nobody saw or stopped him. Read more
Compulsory retirement for Professors over 65
Gone are the days where professors would remain active in duty till their 70s but with the new rule set by Lagos State University (LASU). Lagos State University (LASU) …it is now compulsory for all its professors to retire at the age of 65. Official sack letters, asking them to go on terminal leave have been presented to them. When will the budget be signed? Discussion continues on 2016 budget
The Federal Executive Council have met with President Buhari to discuss the areas that need to revised in the budget. The Budget and National Planning Minister, Mr Udoma Udo Udoma revealed this. It is obvious that the signing of the 2016 budget would not be anytime soon. Read more
Happy birthday Queen Elizabeth
The longest-reigning British monarch and current Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II turns 90 today.
The Queen, who was christened Elizabeth Alexandra Mary at Buckingham
Palace on May 29, 1926, ascended the throne in 1952 and is also the
ruler of 12 other countries including Jamaica. She got married
to Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh on November 20, 1947.
They have four
children including Prince Charles, father of Prince William and Harry.
