The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, in separate judgements on Tuesday, affirmed the nullification of the election of three members of the House of Representatives from the PDP in Plateau State.
The sacked lawmakers are Peter Gyendeng, representing Barkin-Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency; Musa Bagos, representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency and a fifth-term lawmaker; and Beni Lar, who represented Langtang North/Langtang South Federal Constituency.
The Appeal Court had on the same affirmed Ex-Governor Simon Lalong as Senator for Plateau South as PDP loses over refusal to obey Court orders.
Kemi Filani reports that the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Tuesday nullified the participation of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its Senatorial candidate in the February 25 National Assembly Election, Napoleon Binkap Bali for Plateau South Senatorial District of Plateau State on the ground of refusal to carry out a lawful order of Court.
