Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora has responded to Aisha Yesufu for calling her out after she blocked someone on Twitter.
This came after human activist, Aisha Yesufu via microblogging platform shared a photo indicting Abike Dabiri -Erewa had blocked someone who demanded accountability.
Sharing the photo, Aisha tagged Abike Dabiri, then wrote;
”Imagine a public servant like @abikedabiri blocking someone. How pathetic! If you do not want to be held accountable then resign. Nobody asked you to do the job. They are not interacting with your personal self, they are interacting with your official self that is serving.”
However this did not sit well with a concerned follower identified as Lekan who wrote;
”On her personal handle? At this rate you people will start saying she should leave the gate of her house open because she is a public servant, everybody deserves peace n privacy.”
Reacting via her Twitter handle yesterday evening, Dabiri-Erewa replied Aisha
”Severe pains. You better leave the woman on this matter. I’m sure you and I have better things to do. Why is it so painful that I blocked? I will block anyone I feel like blocking anytime But
@nidcom_gov may not be able to do that. Have a good nights rest.”
