324 stranded Nigerians that were stuck in the US due to the Coronavirus pandemic has arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja today July 18.
According to Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, all the evacuees tested negative to COVID-19 before boarding the Ethiopian airline and are now on a 14-day self-isolation as mandated by the Presidential Task Force PTF on COVID-19. See more photos of the evacuated Nigerians below;
It would be recalled, Kemi filiani news reported earlier today, the Federal Government vacated another batch of stranded Nigerians in the United States of America.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama on Saturday via his Twitter handle disclosed the information. According to him, the Nigerian returnees are being expected into the country from Newark Airport, New Jersey.
