Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said the party and President Muhammadu Buhari should leave in 2023.
According to him, they no longer deserve the sympathy and votes of Nigerians.
Garba said this while reacting to news that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the serving Accountant General of the Federation, Mr. Ahmed Idris, for allegedly embezzling N80 billion.
He tweeted, “Just imagine! In this day and time, when technology can track and measure everything, log everything and put every process on a transparent glass for all to see, yet still, someone can comfortably steal N80Bn and you think these people deserve your vote? Like are you okay?
“It is a generational blunder to allow this to continue in Nigeria. We are people of screen, everything is for everyone, while they are people of the book, everything is for the exclusive few
“We should send them parking.
“They steal our hopes, lives and destinies. Not any more!
“They no longer deserve our sympathy, our votes or our trust. They’ve lost it all.
“Let them all pack away alongside President Buhari in 2023 & leave our sacred offices of trust. We’ve had enough.
“They all failed us, they’ll continue to fail us. Let’s serve them the red card.”
